TEN BIBLICAL CONVICTIONS FOR MEN*
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God and the final authority for my life.
My purpose in life is to seek God with my whole heart and to build my goals around His priorities.
My life is to be lived in reverence and awe of God.
My church must proclaim and teach me to practice the foundational truths of the Bible.
My children and grandchildren belong to God; therefore, it is my responsibility to teach biblical principles, godly character, and basic convictions to them.
My conversation and behavior must never harm anyone in any way nor weaken the scriptural convictions of another Christian.
My body is the living temple of God and must not be defiled by the lusts of the flesh; thus, my marriage is a life-long commitment both to God and to my wife.
My money is a trust from God and must be both earned and managed according to biblical truth and principles.
My words must always be in harmony with God’s Truth.
My affections must be set on things above and not on things of the earth.
(*A conviction is a basic Scriptural principle which we purpose to follow, whatever the cost! It differs from a preference in that a preference is NOT seen in day-by-day living, is subject to change [especially when the "heat is on"], andmay actually be inconsistent with true Truth – i.e., violate the Bible. The ten convictions above were takenfrom Exodus 20:3-17.)
